Whereas Alt-right types would call me “brother” and welcome me into their ranks so long as I hated the right ways.

I’m an ally and support equality because I feel it’s the morally correct choice to make, but holy fuck is it difficult to reconcile that with the fact that means fighting for a lot of people who see you as the scum of the earth.

Instagram always shows me all these “men are the worst” videos and I always add comments in that mention how so many guys are so great but the ones that aren’t are the problem and go unchecked, and how the guys I know that I truly love are the guys that call out other guys like this. I do this because guys are digging through the comments and I hope seeing some small confirmation that they have a choice might mean something to them.
